It's a College Thing...

I thought this was pretty funny due to the truthfulness of it.  Lots of us choose the major, take the classes, and tell everyone we love what we are doing, yet we still complain about every class.  We hate it, but we love it.  Does it make sense? In my head, yes.  In yours, well that's up to you.  Is it a sort of balance in school so that it stays neutral, a positive and a negative?

  1. this is hilarious! I agree, the truth in it makes it so funny. My roommates give me a hard time because I am a communications major and never complain about my classes. They are civil engineering majors and all they do is complain about the work. Its a love hate relationship with school!

  2. I just did this today. I love what I'm studying, but was complaining today about the heavy workload I have in the coming weeks and the stress it was causing me. Then my friends all said I shouldn't complain about my workload because I'm just in the Comm school, and they started complaining about their majors in Computer Science and Business. At this point I'm just ready to graduate and get a job doing what I love, and hopefully I won't complain about that too!

  3. This is funny and true. I complain about most classes and assignments and say they are pointless, but then value what I learned from it after. During the semester I can’t stand it, but when it’s over I feel proud that I accomplished something and learned stuff. I am a senior and after May I never want to write an essay/paper/research-paper ever again! An hour and fifteen minutes of someone talking is always boring. A class in those huge theatre-like auditoriums is like watching a boring movie where a guy just talks about a power point the whole time, no action. But I am happy to be going to such a high ranking and huge University,it makes me “feel” smarter. It is a love hate relationship.
